The AIR-ing cupboard is a small but carefully curated first floor space at Thoresby Park which showcases the work of Thoresby's Artists In Residence and some 'Fresh AIR' from visiting artists and makers. It is our pleasure to bring you high quality work from East Midland's artists.

A programme of participatory workshops is offered by resident makers Frances Alexander Jewellery, Tracy Bramley of PPod ceramics and Dawn Idalia.
Visit us to see see examples of our work, pick up leaflets about the workshops and talk to us about bespoke classes and commissions.

Guest artists and makers currently include James Brunt (land artist), Susan Isaac (painter and sculptor), Alison Read (printmaker), Emily Rose (wildlife pastel artist) and Tinker and Tallulah (light-shade makers).

Please check out The Airing Cupboard's insta account for updates

The space is open most days 10-4 but do call ahead if you are making a special journey from a distance 07917 434279 or 01623 822009.

This is a 1st floor gallery but the collection within it can be viewed on a screen in the Visitors Centre below, which does have disabled access. We are very happy to bring down items to show visitors who cannot use the stairs.
